David Cameron is an independent consultant undertaking a range of major projects and reviews and supporting national developments in Scotland, particularly the new Curriculum for Excellence, and delivering training across the UK and internationally. He chaired the innovative Education Partnership in York. He also continues to work directly in schools across the UK. David has a particular interest in creativity, innovation and research and has demonstrated that through work with a wide range of partners
He was Director of Children’s Services in Stirling Council until August 2009. Prior to that, he was Head of Education in East Lothian. He was President of the Association of Directors of Education Scotland and has been involved with a range of national groups. David worked as a teacher and a senior manager in schools for several years and has wide experience in all areas of education.
His passions are for education and opportunity. His commitment is to learning and the creation of better futures.
